Ciao Pappy’s packaging re-design is a celebration of heritage and modernity, seamlessly blending Italian tradition with California’s vibrant energy or as Ciao Pappy calls it, Italifornia®.

Glasfurd & Walker worked with Ciao Pappy to refine and articulate their vision of a fresh, bold, and distinctly Italifornian identity—one that breaks away from the familiar East Coast, Sicilian narrative that dominates the pasta sauce category. Reimagining Italian-American cuisine for a new generation with fresh flavours and a new story, Ciao Pappy introduces a modern take on the archetypal Italian dad—Pappy represents today’s modern Italian dad, reinventing the decades-old "Chef Boyardee" archetype with a new generation in a truly authentic and elevated way.  The new design builds on the brand’s existing elements, reinforcing its connection to quality, a deep love for food, and Italian style with a contemporary twist.
